A new genus, new species of the family Xyalidae and four new and five known species of free living marine nematodes are reported from Pakistan. Arabanema pakistanensis gen. et sp. nov., is characterized by the presence of weakly developed, symmetric, 'L' shaped spicules, tubular gubernaculum without apophysis, conoid tail and shallow, unarmed conoid buccal cavity. Desmodora (Pseudochromadora) cliftensis sp. nov., Ptycholaimellus sindhicus sp. nov., Halichoanolaimus balochiensis sp. nov., Odontophora hawksbiensis sp. nov., are described and illustrated as new species. Chromadora nudicapitata; Endeolophos minutus; Rhynchonema scutatum; Paracanthonchus hawaiiensis and Paracomesoma longispiculum are reported and described for the first time from Pakistan
