A revision of Greeffiellinae FILlPJEV 1929 is provided; the taxon is ranked as subfamily of Desmoscolecidae A new genus Greeffiellopsis is established and 5 new species described: Progreeftiella timmi, Greeftiella myponga, pierrl, australis and alieni. Type material of more species has been reexamined. In all species of Greeffiellinae, somatic setae can be recognized, which are in desmoscolecoid arrangement Further, in all species small later al pores could be observed on the tail which resemble phasmids.
